Loughview Nursing Home is set in the historical Fortwilliam area of North Belfast, providing nursing and palliative care for up to 31 older people.

The home enjoys a welcoming and homely atmosphere, thanks to the dedicated and caring work of our round the clock team.

Our efforts focus on enabling patients to maintain independence and control over their lives where desired. Where support and assistance is needed, our team is always on hand – even if it’s just with the little things like tea and biscuits before bed.

At Loughview we actively encourage patients to live in such a way as to fulfil their abilities and we will always work with you to make sure that your cultural diversity and choice is recognised and respected.

We support regular interaction with the local community, including contact with friends, family and local groups. We encourage friends and family to be involved through regular visits and participation at special activities, events and open days.

The views of our patients are very important to us and we have regular patients meetings to discuss their thoughts and feelings and discuss how we can further improve the service.
